Silent Book Club

Strathnairn Studio artist Irina Bastrakova invites you to an informal book gathering and afternoon tea with editors/publishers Barbara Baikie OAM and Barbie Robinson, along with several contributing writers.

Write Around the World is an independently published collection of memoirs by 25 women from diverse cultural backgrounds, including First Nations women, Australian-born writers, and those who have made Australia home. The book celebrates cultural diversity, shared human experiences, and the stories that connect us.

Tickets $8
includes a drink (coffee, tea or cold drink of choice).

STEPPING STONE URBAN FARM TOUR
including morning tea as part of the Bungendore Harvest Festival
The WISE garden is a new work integrated social enterprise run by Cafe Stepping Stone adjacent to the cafe Dickson. 
Fiona Buining is the urban farm manager who is training migrant and refugee women to grow produce for the cafe. 

Fiona will take participants on a tour of the urban farm talking about the urban farm training program and the methods they are using to grow vegetables for the cafe.

The tour will continue with a full morning tea (Cakes, dips, veg and fruit platter with tea and coffee ) at the cafe where there will be plenty of time for questions and chatting.

Ginninderry Conservation Trust welcomes you to the Corridor Walk
A new collection of walking tracks was officially opened in May 2024, with the construction of further tracks completed by the end of 2024. An additional 10km of walking tracks will complement the existing 3.4km Strathnairn to Shepherds track.
