Strathnairn studio artist Irina Bastrakova invites you to join her, editors/publishers Barbara Baikie OAM and Barbie Robinson along with a number of the women writers whose stories are published in this book for an informal book gathering and afternoon tea.
Write around the World is an independently published collection of memoirs by 25 women from diverse cultures and countries including First Nations women, non-Indigenous women who were born in Australia and others who have come to live here by choice or circumstance.
Its aim is to promote respect, knowledge and celebration of the heritage and cultural diversity of its authors and their many and varied countries of birth. It focuses on the similarities we share as human beings rather than the differences that can divide people.
Tickets $8 --> Your ticket includes a drink (coffee, tea or cold drink of choice). Cake will be provided

Ginninderry Conservation Trust welcomes you to the Corridor Walk
A new collection of walking tracks was officially opened in May 2024, with the construction of further tracks completed by the end of 2024. An additional 10km of walking tracks will complement the existing 3.4km Strathnairn to Shepherds track.
